With the media routinely reporting security breaches of online systems it is imperative that an online system demonstrate the highest standards of security to protect data, both stored and transmitted. The X-En Platform demonstrates the following security measures:
Active Directory Integration (Optional)
X-En supports Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA) providing seamless access to the X-En backend system with Active Directory based user credentials.
Captcha Control (Optional)
X-En offers the optional integration of CAPTCHA controls within your login screens. A CAPTCHA is a challenge-response system test designed to differentiate humans from automated programs by setting some task that is easy for most humans to perform but is more difficult and time-consuming for current bots to complete. Only if the CAPTCHA is processed correctly the system will process the login request.
Controlled Data Access
The X-En Platform demonstrates a highly evolved security model which recognises the attributes of Role and Responsibility. These attributes are user specific thereby guiding task specific definition of user access to Modify/Insert/Delete/Read Only.
Encryption of Sensitive Data
X-En employs data encryption for storage of sensitive data as a further defence against unauthorised data access.
Role Based Menu Generation
The X-En Platform demonstrates a highly evolved security model which recognises the attributes of Role and Responsibility. All users have default or specific roles assigned with X-En, the attribute being used in the determination of appropriate menu generation. This methodology effectively seals off unauthorised access to functionality deemed off limits without appropriate authority.
SSL Certificate (optional)
Not all organisations require operation under SSL Certificate. For those that do The X-En Platform is SSL capable.
